>Stuffed Peppers

>Oh my gosh, these are so good and easy. Thanks to Momma Cyndy for this recipe. Tried and tested tonight – passed on all accounts 🙂

Stuffed Peppers
Ingredients –
4 Green Bell Peppers (adjust all of this as you need to – I used half of all of this.)
1 pound Hamburger Meat
1 small onion
Two cups white rice
1 can Rotel (tomatoes and chiles)
Shredded cheddar cheese (to taste)
Garlic powder
Parmesan Cheese
Lawry’s Seasoning
Salt and Pepper to taste

Directions –
Cook rice according to directions.

Brown your hamburger meat with the onion, season with salt, pepper, thyme, oregano and garlic powder to taste. Drain if necessary.

Combine hamburger meat, rice (use less if you don’t want to use all two cups – just eyeball according to what you like), rotel (drained!) and shredded cheese to taste. Mix together.

Split your peppers in half, clean out the insides of the seeds and scoop out that white crap. (aren’t I just Julia Childs.)

Stuff the peppers with the mixture, sprinkle with a little Lawry’s seasoning and parmsean cheese.

Place in a baking dish and put just a tiny bit of water in the botton – about 1/8 of an inch. This will cook the peppers.

Bake at 400 degrees for about 30 minutes – just keep an eye on them and cook until the peppers are the consistency you want them – you may want them crunchier, or softer, up to you!
